Hi Everyone,
We are having a good week – Brian is better and in good spirits. Many of the side effects of the chemo are quickly abating. He has started driving again and has resumed more normal activities around the house. His appetite is good and he is no longer restricted to bland, gooey foods. Good – I was getting tired of oatmeal!
Brian has asked me to say the following to you: “I have decided that I no longer want to use the blog to talk about my condition. I have learned that by talking about it, I am perpetuating the condition by forming a consensus of fact among my family and friends that I have this condition. Instead we should all think of me and visualize me as healthy and strong.
The words we speak and the thoughts we think all create our reality. We should think and speak about how we want things to be and not about what we see or are told. From now on I would like everyone to visualize me as healthy, disease-free and happy! It is fine to ask me how I am feeling, but please don’t ask for specific details."
Our faith is strong that Brian will be completely healed and all of our energy is devoted in that direction.
We will still post blogs once a week or so but won’t include details as we have in the past.
We are grateful for the love and prayers of our friends. Thank you so much.
Love to all,
Glenda

I have to admit I am going to miss that wonderful sense of humor and creative writing, but I respect your desire to send out to the universe only positive thoughts and energy, because what you send out there is what comes back to you. I know that, I believe that and I want you to know that I am constantly sending postive thoughts to surround you with love, understanding and healing. If there is ever a time when you feel you need for us to concentrate our positive energy, let us know and we can either focus on one thing or maybe all at one time.
I love you both sooo much,
Renee
Dear Brian & Glenda, Thanks for sharing your experience with us, even though it is such a personal challenge that you face. We pray for your continued courage, hope, faith, strength, endurance, and success in reclaiming your health and spiritual well-being. With love and prayers, Rick and family.
Ps.30: "O Lord, I cried to you for help and you, my God, have healed me."
Ex 14:14 "The Lord himself will fight for you; you have only to keep still."
Dearest Glenda and Brian,
We're at the Southwest Symposium at the Hyatt this weekend where acupuncturists, healers, teachers and students from around the globe are gathered. A woman from Australia, two men from the British Virgin Islands, and a woman from Canada are among those here. The energy is tangible and I've been visioning all of the healing vibes radiating out from the Hyatt and further out, surrounding the entire Central Texas area with vibrant light and good Qi. An extra beam of light and love is radiating throughout the Hills of Dreams.
As I re-read your posting tonight, I was reminded of a quote I once heard. It goes roughly like this:
"Healing is not so much a miracle that comes to us from afar, but rather a finer and subtler tuning of our own perception until at last we see what is around us and within us all along."
The Light of God surrounds us. The Love of God is within us. Wherever we are, God Is. And All is Well.
With love and gratitude,
Linda ("HB")
Dear Brian and Glenda,

I am sending you both much love and thoughts of health and happiness
